We’ve been working on quite a few projects here at xDA:
- Videos of the flower graffiti thing (premiered at BarcampPT Setembro 2009), should be coming up on vimeo sometime soon, we’ll dump here some links when it’s on, and hopefully a page about the setup of the project with nifty descriptions and schematics, and possibly maybe even some source code. Stay tuned.
- The xDA-TV webcam is now up and running, so you can stalk us more properly and all that jazz. Evil plans for remote control and lack of presence detection, autonomous demoshow wtf’ism are being debacled, wait for it.
- Baby steps on a new project concerning projection mapping with sms interaction are getting tested. Might take a while, might not.
- We’re also working on a demo for an upcoming demoparty early next month in Arles / France called Mainparty, which happens to have the biggest screen ever. Hope to finish it properly in time, looking quite decent so far.
- Also looking for places in Coimbra to organize open music jam sessions involving extreme circuit bending fuckery, 8bit dementia, post industrial abstraction and all that. Got any contacts?
- Last but not least, ideas have been bubbling to setup an open intraweb, offering wifi access to anyone and a server full of opensource tools, free creative commons content and an anonymous shared upload section. who needs internet when you’ll have a xDAnet to explore?
